Summer Art Camp Registration Opens in the Spring of 2020

Art in the Wild is a Summer Art Camp for all kids ages 3 – 12 with community service volunteer opportunities for ages 13 to 18 presented by Confluence Gallery. Each week explores the natural world through art making, providing an enriching art camp experience that is accessible for any child in the Methow Valley. This FUN Summer Arts camp is presented by Confluence Gallery under the direction of art therapist Michele Koger,MA, LMT, ATR.

The 2019 camp curriculum included print making/paper arts, fiber arts, field journaling, photography and nature drawing.

Local teaching artists and environmental educators will guide students through a curriculum using re-purposed and up-cycled resources and materials found in nature reinforcing creativity and resourcefulness while building social skills and creative life skills thru hands-on art education combined with environmental education.

Dates: Four weeks in July of 2020 (exact dates yet to be determined) Monday – Friday, 10 a.m. – 3 p.m.
Location: Methow Valley Community School in Twisp, WA
Cost: Ages 3, 4, 5 $225 per week; Ages 6-12 $175, includes supplies (FULLY subsidized tuition available; Early drop off and late pick up available for $10 per hour/per child)Early Drop Off, Late Pick up Application and if you would like your early childhood age-child to join us, download our Summer Camp Early childhood Registration Form
